the meeting ended at 3pm, and she crossed the border at 5pm. so the driving took 2hrs. that way she must have gone out at 8am.
this is before the estimated time of death, so it wasn't done directly by her.
also it is suspicious thet the passport was stamped only once, there should be also one when she was going out of the country. maybe it is just that you did not write it....

the food seems to be untouched, except for the juice, of whatever it is in the glass. so i'd say it was poisoned. it must have been something that made him feel so bad he did not continue eating. it made it impossible for him to move , and he died 1-2hrs later.
after he died there, it was either :
a)her who after coming back dumped the body where it was found, during the time she said she was trying to get to him, or
b)some kind of helper who had the keys.

if that is wrong, then she at least must have given the keys to the helper and they killed the husband. the person must have had keys since there wasn't anything mentione about anybody breaking in.
and they came when she was already out, so she would have the alibi.
